Job Description:
Desired Experience: 3+ years
- We are looking for an iOS Developer who has experience in handling HLS video playback and previous experience in building an OTT experience.
- As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing our iOS application.
- You will work closely with our development team to create new features, improve existing ones, and ensure that our application is stable and performs well on all devices.
- Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and test our iOS application
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Work with outside data sources and APIs Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. - Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in iOS development Proficient with Swift and Swift UI Experience with HLS video playback.
- Experience building an OTT experience Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services Strong understanding of iOS Swift UI design principles and best practices.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Potential projects: Implement new features and improvements to our iOS application Optimize our application for performance on different devices and screen sizes - Develop new tools to aid in the creation and publishing of content on our platform Collaborate with our design team to create a visually appealing and user-friendly application.
- Work with our data team to integrate new data sources and improve our recommendation algorithm
- Implement new monetization strategies to drive revenue growth
