JD: mandatory skills: GCP, migration, Architect, design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions on GCP to support business applications and services.

- Lead and oversee the migration of on-premises infrastructure and workloads to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

- Develop and maintain security best practices and compliance standards for GCP infrastructure. Implement security controls and monitoring.

- Optimize GCP resources and costs by analyzing usage and recommending cost-effective solutions while maintaining performance and scalability.

- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems hosted on GCP.

- Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager for automated provisioning and scaling.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of GCP infrastructure, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement improvements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and security, to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, with a strong focus on GCP.

-Google Cloud Professional Architect certification is highly desirable.

-Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, GCP services, and networking.

-Strong expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices (Terraform).

-Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) on GCP.

-Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards on GCP.

-Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-Project management experience is a plus.
