  • Develop front-end applications using Java-based front-end libraries/frameworks (Vaadin, JSF, Tapestry)
  • Integrate with RESTful services/APIs to fetch and display data from external sources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Contribute to UI design decisions and implement UI predominantly through Java (e.g., Vaadin)

Job description

Front-End Java Developer

Must Have skills:

5-7 years of experience of Java development

Strong skills in Java programming language

Java based front-end libraries, and frameworks (Vaadin, JSF, tapestry)

Willingness to work on UI design almost entirely through Java (eg. Vaadin)

RESTful services/APIs. Integrating with various APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to fetch and display data from external sources

Good communication skills, being able to discuss, capture and document business requirements with key stakeholders.

Nice to have skills:

Vaadin frontend Framework (very nice to have)

(UI) Design: understanding of UI/UX design principles and tools

Non-Java front-end languages and Frameworks (HTML, JavaScript, CSSetc.)

Database queries (SQL)

Knowledge of Objectrelational mapping tools for the Java programming language (Hibernate, JPA etc.)

Knowledge of middle ware (Message Queues)
