Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, data lake environments, and related Azure services.
  • Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (web apps, function apps, logic apps, API Management).
  • Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, Databricks) and integration with DevOps workflows.
  • Version control experience with GitHub and Azure Repos, familiarity with code quality tools (SonarQube, Fortify, FxCop), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python); Linux/Unix background; Terraform for IaC.

Requirements:

  • Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for components such as web apps, function apps, logic apps, and API Management.
  • Develop and manage Azure data services with Data Factory integration and Data Lake Gen2, ensuring robust data pipelines.
  • Deploy and manage a broad set of Azure services (API Management, Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, AKS, Azure ML Workspaces, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, Batch) using Terraform as IaC.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, implement DevOps best practices, maintain code quality, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

Primary Skills: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Kubernetes Services.

Secondary Skills: Terraform, Scripting, Agile.

Experience: 7+ Years

Excellent communication skills

Good experience in setting up end-to-end CI/CD using Azure DevOps ( components such as web app, function app, logic app, and APIM).

Good experience in handling Azure data services with Azure DevOps.

Good Knowledge in Version Control: git hub and azure repos.

Good exp in creating a pipeline with Azure data factory and integration.

Good Experience with Linux/Unix environments

Experience in Code Quality Tools: Sonarqube, Fortify, fxcop, etc.

Azure System administration experience is a must-have

Working experience in multiple scripting languages(PowerShell, Bash, Python)

Should have good experience in building CI/CD pipelines

Should have experience with SVN and Git repository configuration and management

Hands-on Experience in deploying the following Azure Services:

1. API management

2. Azure Storage Services (Storage Accounts, Data Lake Gen2)

3. Azure Data Factory

4. Azure Databricks

5. Azure Kubernetes Services

6. Azure Machine Learning Workspaces

7. Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps

8. Azure Event Hubs

9. Azure batch services

Database artifact deployments

Should have solid hands-on experience in Infrastructure as a code using Terraform

Eager to understand the underlying technology and build a DevOps framework around it.

Understanding agile development processes like scrum would be helpful
