Responsibilities:

  • Provide nutritional support and counseling to our patients with diverse health and wellness needs.
  • Coaching through our telehealth format through phone calls and secure messaging with members.
  • Document and communicate nutritional care plans in accordance with established standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide patient-centered care.
  • Participate in monthly Case Reviews with fellow RD’s to contribute the success of the team
  • Get licensed and credentialed to meet the requirements of our clients
  • 40 hours per week with 1 evening shift

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 to 10+ years of experience as a Board Certified Dietitian
  • Active RDN status in accordance with CDR and state licensure criteria, and the ability to apply for a license(s) in multiple states.
  • Language proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Comfortable working with members presenting with multiple clinical conditions (CKD, Diabetes, Hypertension, Anemia, NAFLD, etc)
  • Strong clinical and counseling skills using an evidence based approach
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition counseling approaches and modalities (i.e. motivational interviewing), intuitive eating, and MNT
  • Self-starter and can manage in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and
  • Build rapport, credibility, and engagement with members over the phone with exceptional communications skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Constantly up to date with current nutrition research and industry developments.
  • Previous technology work experience not required; however, must be comfortable using and applying technology to nutrition practice and objectives.
  • Contribute in a group setting as well as give and receive feedback.
