Job Description Summary

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to lead and support a team building software for tax professionals. You’ll be responsible for hiring, developing, and guiding product managers who deliver valuable, usable, and feasible solutions.

This role involves building and maintaining a customer-centric, data-informed roadmap that supports both short-term execution and long-term strategy. You'll help your team understand the needs of tax professionals, analyze customer usage data, and incorporate market and competitive insights into product planning.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Compliance to ensure alignment across teams and delivery of high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop a strong team of product managers.
• Define and drive the overall product roadmap across key initiatives, ensuring it reflects customer needs, business goals, and industry trends.
• Guide product managers in using data and customer feedback to inform priorities and validate solutions.
• Foster close collaboration across cross-functional teams and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure product decisions account for business constraints, technical feasibility, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and evolving needs of tax professionals to identify opportunities and risks.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading and coaching PMs.
• Experience building B2B software products, ideally in tax, accounting, or other professional services.
• Strong understanding of product discovery, delivery, and roadmap development.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and communication at all levels.
• Ability to support teams in balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the workflows and challenges of tax professionals.
• Experience working in a regulated or compliance-heavy industry.
