Hands-on experience configuring and testing Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Sync Service to synchronize across two AD/Office 365 tenants with 10K+ users.
Experience implementing GAL synchronization and enabling B2B access and guest accounts between tenants.
Strong consulting and knowledge-transfer skills: solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation for customers.
Experience in multi-forest/multi-tenant environments (2 AD forests/domains and 2 Microsoft 365 tenants) and stakeholder coordination.
Requirements:
Confirm project goals, scope, prerequisites with stakeholders and review target-state design and prior work.
Perform deep-dive technical analysis of current state (AD forests, AD Schema, Azure AD, SSO, security) and identify remediation tasks.
Lead MIM design, close gaps, plan infrastructure remediation, build future-state components, and execute system integration and testing.
Coordinate pilot and full-scale synchronization: initiate pilot sync, collect feedback, troubleshoot, update strategy, perform post-production hypercare and handover.

MIM Architect – 100% Remote Location - Seattle, WA Duration: 3 Months Project Start Date – Immediately Salary – DOE
Set up a contact sync between two Active Directory and Office 365 tenants using MIM Sync Service, over 10K users.
To have a common global address list (GAL) between the two tenants and possibly enable B2B access and guest accounts in the future.
Provide customer consultants with MIM expertise to assist solution design, configure and test the synchronization and provide knowledge transfer once the work is completed.
In-Scope: 2 AD Forests and domains 2 Microsoft 365 tenants
Role & Responsibilities
Confirm project goals, scope and prerequisites with key stakeholders.
Review any target-state implementation design, implementation strategy, any previously completed work including challenges and issues seen during the implementation.
Collect and analyze any additional requirements.
Deep-dive analysis technical current state infrastructure diagrams, design artifacts, tools, Active Directory and its structures, AD Schema for each Forest, AD Integrated Apps, SSO, Security and integration with Azure AD)
Identify Remediation Tasks that need to be performed in a Hierarchical manner to prepare the Current, Interim, and Future State Architectures
Assist with MIM design
Implementation Gaps/Challenges, tools, data sources, licenses and fees required
Initiate Infra Remediation activities
Initiate Build of Infrastructure components for the future-state design
Perform Systems Integration and Functionality Testing
Update Design, Implementation, and As-Built Plans
Initiate Sync for Pilot Users
Collect feedback on issues, categorize, troubleshoot and document.
