Job description

Job Title: Sr Engineer (IAM, Java, Okta Auth0, DevOps, Spring Security)

Location: Canada EST / USA EST / LATAM - Remote

Long Term Contract

Role Focus: Primarily focused on development work without leadership responsibilities.

Specialists with proven experience deploying Auth0 solutions, including advanced features like policy implementation and multi-tenancy. Similar experience with other tools will not suffice. Candidates skilled in DevOps/Kubernetes and knowledgeable in Spring Security (Java EE framework) to round out the team.

Role Focus: Implementing and managing enterprise-level Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions with a strong emphasis on authentication and authorization infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Deploy Auth0 within Peoples Bank, not just utilize it.

Implement authentication solutions with policies, multi-tenancy, and other advanced features.

Note: The client is specifically looking for an IAM specialist with hands-on experience in deploying these solutions, rather than someone who has only consumed SSO services provided by such solutions.

Experience: 5+ years in IAM implementation with demonstrated expertise in deploying authentication solutions at an enterprise level.

Expertise:

Deployment and architecture of IAM solutions.

Multi-tenant authentication implementations.

Strong knowledge of security protocols and standards (OAuth, SAML, OIDC).

Identity lifecycle management and governance.

Leadership: At least three years of management experience. The Technical Lead should possess strong leadership and management skills to guide the team effectively.
