Job Requirements:-

SQL and Database Knowledge (Mandatory):

• Advanced Proficiency in SQL to write and execute queries for data validation.
• Working experience with databases like PostGreSQL, Snowflake and data warehousing concepts.

Data Analysis and Profiling :

• Strong analytical skills to review and analyze data for quality issues, inconsistencies, and discrepancies .
• Proficiency in data profiling tools and techniques to analyze data quality, detect anomalies, and identify patterns within data.

Data Quality and Validation (Mandatory):

• Ability to validate and verify data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency during the ETL process .
• Knowledge of data quality tools and frameworks.

Test Design and Execution:

• Design test cases and scenarios to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.
• Execute test cases and document results, identifying and reporting defects and anomalies.

Skills

• 6+ years of experience in design and execution of Test plan, data migration strategy, application testing, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Proven experience as a data migration test engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data migration processes, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies, and data integration.
• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks, as well as data validation and verification techniques.
• Experience with test plan management and status reporting tools such as Jira is essential.
• Extensive experience in functional, Regression testing is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience of working within an agile delivery framework is preferred

Preferred:

• Proficient in Salesforce and Salesforce data models.
• SOQL queries.
• Good understanding of AWS, Heroku and cloud architecture.
