Requirements:

  • Manage all aspects of Graphic Technical Operations and personnel within the assigned region; establish relationships with the Commercial Management Team to align objectives with contractual obligations and contribute to the financial success and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and implement P Log program for GTC Managers, conduct annual performance evaluations, and manage performance and staffing levels across the region; coach personnel as needed.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to achieve Customer Quality standards, including xRite training, equipment calibrations, press troubleshooting, and downtime logs with action registers for improvement.
  • Document regional Customer KPIs by GTC location, perform monthly reviews with Director GTCs to identify improvement opportunities, coordinate urgent coverage, and align with Commercial team to support contractual obligations and operational efficiency.

Regional Graphic Technician Manager

Remote

Full Time

Effectively manages all aspects of the Graphic Technical Operations and personnel within the assigned region. Establishes strong relationship with the Commercial Management Team to ensure the objectives of each Graphic Technical Center location aligns and supports the Contractual obligations, and contributes to the financial success of the Customer, as well as the North America Commercial Division. Maintains open communication with the Customers contacts within their region to ensure the Graphic Technical Teams achieve overall Customer satisfaction related to service and supply. Maintains a strong Safety culture within the Region through employee engagement and support in the Field HSE program. Travel as needed to Graphic Technical Centers in the Region is expected.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:

 Provide job descriptions specific to GT position / location which clearly define the responsibilities and performance expectations of the positions.

Train and implement P Log program for GTC Managers, as well as annual performance evaluations for all Graphic Tech personnel. Manage Performance of all GTC personnel in region

Maintain staff levels per contractual obligations. Work with Human Resources and Director of GTC's on coaching personnel in performance improvement opportunities, disciplinary action as / if appropriate.

Assist in the development and Implementation of Standard Operating procedures to achieve Customer Quality standards, including xRite training, equipment calibrations (scales, pH meters) Press trouble shooting and Downtime logs with action registers for improvement.

Document Regional Customer KPI's by GTC location, monthly review with Director GTC's to identify improvement opportunities and implement actions to meet targets.

Create a strong Safety / HSE culture in your region. Lead by example, set expectations in monthly training attendance, Scorecards initiatives, Near Miss and Hazard identifications, through engagement of all GT staff

Coordinate urgent, unforeseen GTC coverage as needed.

Aligning with Commercial team, Lead GTC staff to support contractual obligations to the Customer locations in which they are assigned.

Support Technical Service Team to coordinate new customer trials and Customer complaints / related down time.

Support All Divisional initiatives related to SAP and the Supply chain to improve efficiencies and reduce overall costs. Train in processes, SAP, Web shop, non-inventory purchasing process

Provide direction to GTC teams to implement effective return / obsolete Ink inventory work off programs.

Meet with Customers to address any type of customer complaints related to the GT Staff, Product complaints.

Implement Graphic Technician over time approval process / reduction initiatives, while ensuring Customer demand obligations are achieved.

Implement vacation request program / approvals to support Customer coverage obligations while minimizing / reducing costs of Gt Overtime coverage, external GT coverage and travel costs.

Maintain equipment asset inventories / transfer of all GTC equipment at all Customer locations.

Create requisition requests to Director of GTC for new equipment proposals requiring Capital Expense , i.e. Dispensers, equipment > $ 1,500 USD
