Job description

We are seeking a Data Solutions Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Federal Government customer. Candidates must be able to obtain a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance - US Citizen and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years. Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years

You will function as the primary technical architect for data warehousing projects to solve business intelligence challenges. Candidates should possess deep technical expertise in database design, ETL (OWB/ODI), reporting, and analytics and previous consulting experience utilizing an agile delivery methodology.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall design and governance of the enterprise data platform
• Define Azure resource architecture, metadata strategy, data integration patterns, and ensure platform scalability and sustainability
• Advise on governance best practices and supports long-term alignment with organization collaboration goals.

Minimum Qualifications
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, including at least 5 years in designing and deploying cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure).
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure architecture (Data Lake Gen2, Synapse, Purview, Key Vault)
• Experience designing metadata strategies and data governance models
• Familiarity with tenant federation, security architecture, and role-based access models
• Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data lineage documentation.
