The Role
We’re looking for a Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer to lead technical delivery on the ground in the UK.
This is not a traditional backend or frontend role.
You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and customers - owning deployments, shaping solutions with early UK partners, and feeding real-world insight directly back into the core platform.
You will be one of the first engineering hires in the UK, with clear scope to evolve into a Team Lead / Engineering Manager as the local team grows.

Build & Ship Product
Contribute hands-on across frontend, backend, and infrastructureCollaborate closely with Product, Design, and the Australian engineering teamMove fast, ship often, and raise the bar on quality and reliability
Technical Leadership
Act as the technical anchor for the UK marketEstablish best practices around delivery, testing, and deploymentMentor future UK engineers and help shape the local teamInfluence architecture decisions as the product and customer base scalesWhat We’re Looking For5 years + experienceStrong startup experience (early or growth stage preferred)Prior team leadership or team-building experienceComfortable owning projects from problem definition through to productionExperience working directly with non-technical stakeholders or customers
