Two- or 4-year Technical Diploma with preference given to engineering or fluid power programs, or equivalent training and experience
2+ years industrial or technical outside sales experience
Fluid Power certification is a plus
Product application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems is preferred
Requirements:
Develop and manage outside sales accounts for industrial fluid power components and solutions, targeting sales growth and profitability
Provide technical product application and troubleshooting support for hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems to industrial customers and OEMs
Build and maintain long-term relationships with industrial customers and OEMs to expand business opportunities and cross-sell SunSource services
Travel to customer sites as needed to support sales efforts, with overnight travel as required, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver design support, subassembly/kit products, inventory programs, and hydraulic repair services

Experience, Education and Skills
Two- or 4-year Technical Diploma with preference given to engineering or fluid power programs, OR equivalent training and experience
Fluid Power certification is a plus
2+ years industrial or technical outside sales experience
Experience with value-added industrial sales is preferred
Product application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems is preferred
Understanding and previous experience working with industrial customers
Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency is required
Must have a valid driver's license
Overnight travel may be required
