We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Crowdsourcing Community Unit to design, grow, and manage our contributor network, powering translation, annotation, and evaluation projects across markets and languages.


As our Head of Crowdsourcing Community, you will shape and execute strategies in contributors sourcing, streamline onboarding, foster community engagement, and ensure just-in-time fulfillment for large-scale, fast-moving client needs.


Responsibilities


In your role as Head of Crowdsourcing Community Unit, you are responsible for:


- Building and Executing Scalable Recruitment: Design and roll out contributors acquisition campaigns to source hundreds to thousands of contributors across multiple platforms and languages.

- Streamlining Onboarding Process: Develop and manage smooth, efficient onboarding process and train flows to get projects ready fast.

- Engaging and Nurturing Community: Foster a vibrant, connected crowd through smart use of platforms and frequent communication.

- Optimizing Contributors Experience: Implement support systems and touch points that drive retention, reduce churn, and keep motivation high.

- Delivering Fast Fulfillment: Ensure the right contributors are ready for large, urgent projects through strong pipelines and real-time problem solving.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Data, Quality, Production teams to maintain quality, compliance, and seamless project delivery.

- Using Data and Tools: Leverage or develop dashboards and CRM tools to monitor, manage, and optimize engagement.


Qualifications

Education, skills, and experience

 5+ years of experience in crowdsourcing, community/talent operations, freelance marketplace management, or large-scale workforce coordination.

 Proven record of building, scaling, and managing contributor or freelancer communities.

 Exceptional communication skills. Being able to craft compelling messaging and build trust across global audiences.

 Hands-on expertise with onboarding flows, contributors engagement tactics, and managing communities via dedicated platforms.

 Strategic thinker, skilled in data-driven problem-solving, campaign design, and process improvement.

 Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and thriving in fast-paced and changing environments.

 Technologically savvy; able to recommend, implement, or integrate tools for scalable results.
