About the Role:

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Work Model: Hybrid (On-site presence required)

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Strategic Account Manager for our Wiley Science Solutions team, to drive sales with key accounts for spectra database sales within the analytical sciences areas across EMEA. Primary responsibilities include managing strategic account relationships and developing solutions from across the Wiley portfolio of science solutions to support our direct and channel sales partners in achieving scientific work objectives.

How will you make an impact?  

  • Acquiring new customers, building, and managing strong relationships with clients
  • Drive strategic account growth with major instrument manufacturers and government programs
  • Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders such as products & technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and deliver profitable sales growth
  • Emphasis on closing/winning new business to drive revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of chemistry and spectroscopy concepts, software solutions, and channel sales.
  • Channel sales experience a plus (Resellers and OEMs)
  • Strong government bid and proposal experience is a plus
  • Effective communication skills, ability to communicate in English (Verbal and written)

CRM management

  • Must be able to work in a cross-functional, global team to influence regional and global account outcomes.
  • Provide market and key account plans to management and key stakeholders
  • Travel to meet with prospects/customers (30% min)

About you

  • We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and results-driven Strategic Account Manager based in India to manage and grow our portfolio of Spectral Database solutions in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan and Korea), including Greater China (China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong).
  • You will have a strong track record in sales, excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, a sound understanding of mass spectrometry and spectral data, and how analytical scientists use these tools in their daily work.
  • You will need to demonstrate proven account management experience, ideally within the mass spectrometry/analytical sciences area. Experience with IR, Raman, NMR, GC/MS, and LC/MS instrument brands is favourable, but not essential.
