Role: Lean Warehouse Developer Location: 9942 108 St. Edmonton, Alberta T5K 2J5 / Remote Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: $67 T4 and $80 INC.

This role is responsible for implementing the data warehouse solution for business reporting purposes.
The role supports continuous delivery, enterprise system modernization, and data integrity across complex platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Build virtual data models using Synapse Serverless and harmonize schema differences across clusters
Create unified fact/dimension views for analytics and reporting
Implement analytical semantic layers to support business intelligence and planning Integrate internal and external data sources, focusing on SQL Server and cloud-based platforms
Use source control (Git) in collaborative software development environments
Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Collaborate with product owners, service designers, and other team members to deliver user-centered solutions
Ensure compliance with customer standards, policies, and security requirements
Document planned and unplanned changes, and support problem resolution as required by the Province
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years: Building virtual data models with Synapse Serverless
Minimum 5 years: Creating unified fact/dimension views across clusters
Minimum 2 years: Using Git for source control in collaborative environments
Minimum 1 year: Working with CI/CD pipelines
Experience in Agile development environments
Experience replacing systems of record (registries, banking, insurance, taxation, financial or billing systems) is a valuable asset
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Work Conditions Availability to work full-time during standard Alberta business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:154:30)
Ability to provide a current criminal record check upon request.
