Roles & Responsibilities

  • Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Huggingface Transformers); Java or similar language is a plus.
  • Extensive experience developing, deploying, and maintaining ML/DL solutions at scale, including large language models, vector embeddings, and vector databases; practical knowledge of transformer architectures (RAG is a plus).
  • Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), API/microservice integration, and ability to obtain Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.

Requirements:

  • Collaborate with business users to understand domain needs and apply data science to derive actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, and fine-tune large language models to support real-world federal IT scenarios.
  • Deploy cloud-based AI solutions with scalable and secure architectures; integrate with APIs and microservices.
  • Advance CI/CD practices for AI systems, conduct NLP/ML research, and present findings to leadership in non-technical terms.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate business needs through in-depth conversations with business users to understand the domain and apply data science for insights
  • Design, develop and fine-tune state-of-the-art Large Language Models that can assist with real-world scenarios within Federal IT
  • Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques against multi-modal inputs
  • Cloud-based solution deployments, ensuring scalability and security. Collaborate with engineers & developers to integrate solutions with APIs and microservices
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for AI systems
  • Conduct research and implement cutting-edge techniques in NLP, machine learning, and AI ethics
  • Present key findings to leadership to evaluate business impact, in non-technical terms
Qualifications:
  • An expert in advanced analytics, passionate about turning data into impactful insights, and driving creative data science solutions
  • Prior experience in developing, deploying and maintaining machine learning or deep learning solutions at scale.

  • Python proficiency - Strong experience with Python is essential for scripting, data manipulation and interacting with APIs

  • Extensive experience in building and deploying LLMs Like LLMS
  • Understanding of vector embeddings and experience working with Vector databases
  • Knowledge of transformer architecture and generative AI concepts including RAG architecture and how they integrate LLMs
  • Profound knowledge of statistical models and machine learning algorithms. 
    Proficiency in cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages. (5+ years)
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Huggingface-transformers)

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation

 

Education:

  • Minimum of Master’s in computer science, Artificial Intelligence or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience

Clearance: 

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation

 

Location:

  • Remote, USA

 

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
