Business Intelligence Developer 

Location: Remote US

Reports To: Manager of Business Intelligence

Salary Range:  $120,000 - $140,000 Annually

Position Summary 

Partner with our Business Intelligence (BI) team to support and enhance analytics capabilities across manufacturing operations—from production and supply chain to quality and engineering.

Key Responsibilities 

· Develop data pipelines and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights on throughput, downtime, cycle time, scrap rates, inventory, on-time delivery, backlog, capacity analysis and other key manufacturing metrics.

· Work closely with plant managers, operations leaders, and engineering teams to understand production workflows and provide real-time data solutions via Tableau dashboards.

· Build, maintain, and optimize data models integrating ERP, MES, and shop floor systems with Snowflake and ETL tools.

· Lead Tableau training sessions tailored to manufacturing and operations staff, driving data literacy and dashboard adoption.

· Continuously refine BI solutions to support lean initiatives, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

 

Qualifications 

· Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

· 3+ years of BI experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

· Advanced Tableau experience, including manufacturing KPI dashboards and visual storytelling.

· Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and ETL processes; familiarity with ERP and MES data sources is a plus.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work hands-on with operations and engineering teams.

· Problem-solving mindset with experience turning raw shop-floor data into business insights.

 

Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
