IT Security Support / Security Operations Support

The IT Security Support / Security Operations Support role provides operational and technical support to the cybersecurity function, focusing on the day-to-day execution of security controls, access management, and security-related requests across the organization.

This position supports security operations by managing user access, identity and authentication processes, and security tooling administration under established policies and procedures. The role works closely with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure security controls are properly implemented, maintained, and documented.

Responsibilities include handling security-related tickets, supporting MFA and IAM processes, assisting with endpoint and system hardening activities, and helping maintain compliance with internal security standards. The role also contributes to incident response activities by supporting investigation, documentation, and escalation processes as required.

This position requires a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, operating systems, identity management, and enterprise IT environments. It is well suited for professionals transitioning from IT support, systems administration, or operations into cybersecurity, and plays a critical role in maintaining the stability and effectiveness of the organization’s security operations.
