Job description

The Opportunity

UserWise is developing a new mobile game based on a globally recognized entertainment IP, blending mass-market appeal with a fast, high-frequency LiveOps cadence.

We’re looking for a Lead Producer to act as the engine room of the project - building and owning the production pipelines that allow a lean, senior team to move at startup speed. You will be the first and sole Producer on the project during early development. This is not a coordination or ticket-management role; it is about creating the systems, rhythms, and trust that let design and engineering execute at a high level.

This is a hands-on role in a lean, newly formed team. You will actively drive decisions, manage risk, and carry the production process forward from early exploration through MVP, soft launch, and live operations.

What You’ll Do

Production Leadership & Execution

  • Own the day-to-day delivery rhythm of the project, ensuring standups, sprints, reviews, and retrospectives are purposeful and effective.
  • Establish, document, and evolve a production process from scratch, creating clarity and predictability for a senior, cross-disciplinary team.
  • Guide the team through exploration, prototyping, and discovery, while maintaining focus on milestones and end goals.
  • Act as the project’s reality check, balancing creative ambition with scope, timing, and delivery constraints.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, transparency, and respect.
  • Build trust, clarity, and momentum within a newly formed team.

Planning & Delivery

  • Build and maintain the master roadmap and delivery plan, with clear visibility into near- and mid-term risks.
  • Anticipate blockers and work proactively to resolve them before they impact delivery.
  • Own delivery trade-offs within agreed scope and milestones, escalating risks and decisions when necessary.

Cross-Discipline Coordination

  • Act as the connective tissue between Design, Economy, Engineering, Art, Audio, QA, and UA, ensuring changes in one discipline are clearly communicated to others.
  • Ensure teams have clear goals, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create an environment of clear communication, psychological safety, and constructive feedback.
  • Influence senior designers and engineers through preparation, data, and clear planning rather than authority.

LiveOps & Launch Execution

  • Own LiveOps planning, content cadence, and release scheduling from soft launch onward.
  • Ensure sufficient content buffers are planned and approved ahead of release.
  • Prepare the team for the transition from development into live operations, including soft launch readiness and operational cadence.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience as a Producer on mobile F2P games.
  • Proven experience shipping a game across its full lifecycle, from early concept or prototyping through launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and own production processes for new teams.
  • Experience working with licensed IP, including managing approval flows, brand guidelines, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior creatives and engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to navigate difficult conversations with clarity and empathy.
  • Strong judgment around scope, trade-offs, and prioritization.
  • Experience leading remote, distributed teams across multiple time zones using async-friendly workflows.
  • Fluent in English; effective in a remote, international team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting LiveOps planning or post-launch operations.
  • Experience and/or Interest in using AI-assisted tools to improve planning, documentation, or production efficiency.
