About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DocOps Engineer (Configuration Engineer) to join our Technical Writing team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in programming, and the ability to create automated solutions and work with APIs. 

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and develop documentation testing frameworks (PowerShell, Python)
  • Maintain and improve documentation publication pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, Abode AEM, Veeam Help Center)
  • Participate in projects for the implementation of new systems for the technical writing team
  • Perform work on the analysis and selection of new systems/applications
  • Install and maintain applications in the production environment
  • Configure applications (templates, workflows, notifications, reports, and so on) of the technical writing team
  • Write instructions for internal knowledge base systems, perform live demos for the technical writing team 

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of scripting programming languages: Python (intermediate level) and PowerShell (upper intermediate level)
  • Knowledge of Markdown and XML for documentation and formatting
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins)
  • Experience with APIs (Rest API, Graph API)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with the Atlassian product stack (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) 

Bonus Skills

  • Desire and passion to automate everything
  • Experience in the development of React apps
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in administering virtual and cloud platforms (VMware vSphere, AWS)
  • Experience with API specification standards (OpenAPI, OData)
  • Knowledge of programming languages at entry/intermediate level (C# preferably)
