Our client is a fast-growing, privately held medical device company specialising in innovative sports medicine solutions. With a strong international footprint and continued global expansion, the business is known for its commitment to quality, clinician education and purpose-driven product development.

As part of continued growth across Eastern Europe, they are seeking a Product Specialist to play a pivotal role in supporting commercial strategy, enabling partners, and acting as the regional subject matter expert for the portfolio.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible and strategically important role that sits at the intersection of product, sales, and the clinical community. Reporting to the Regional Business Development Manager, you will serve as the regional product expert, providing deep technical and clinical insight while supporting pricing strategy, partner enablement and market development.

The role is ideally suited to a product specialist or clinical support professional with strong analytical capability and a passion for sports medicine innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the regional product expert, maintaining in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, applications and clinical evidence.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support pricing strategy and commercial decision-making.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the Regional BDM.

  • Gather and synthesise feedback from partners and clinicians to inform product development and marketing strategy.

  • Support partners with go-to-market planning and execution.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for complex product, technical and clinical enquiries.

  • Deliver product training and presentations to partners, clinicians and internal teams.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners and key clinical stakeholders.

  • Support the regional sales strategy by providing technical and clinical input throughout the sales cycle.

  • Prepare technical documentation and responses for tenders.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product management teams to ensure effective communication of field insights.

About You

Youll be a commercially aware and analytically minded product specialist with strong communication skills and experience in sports medicine.

Essential:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a product specialist, clinical support or similar role within sports medicine or medical devices.

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical or clinical information clearly and persuasively.

  • Excellent analytical skills with experience interpreting market and customer data.

  • Fluent in German & English and a relevant local language.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting distributors or partner-led markets.

  • Exposure to pricing strategy, tenders or market access activity.
