MEAN Stack or Angular Developer

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Web developer with skills around the MEAN Stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, Angular, and Node.js), with a focus on Angular, NodeJS and ExpressJS. Experience with AWS and/or Oracle Cloud is a strong plus.

This is a full-time contract position for India-based candidates and is a fully remote, work-from-home position. You will need to have a comfortable home office with stable internet. Hours are day and early evening to enable check-ins with the VP of Product during early morning US hours.

Essential Duties

• Assist with the development, support,  and maintenance of Web solutions in the AWS cloud environment, integrating them with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
• You will understand and manage the current application infrastructure and suggest migration path, best practices, and efficiency improvements to the cloud.

Required Education and Years of Experience

• 3+ years of related professional experience is required. 5+ years is preferred.
• 2+ years of college level education or training is required. A 4-year (Bachelor’s) degree is preferred.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as Angular, Typescript, HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript with strong hands-on experience.
• Experience and skill with Web Services Integration (i.e., SOAP, REST and JSON).
• Experience with Git or equivalent version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiar with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) is a plus but not required.
• Experience with the full MEAN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, Angular, and Node.js) stack for web development is also preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of OCI or AWS Services such as Cognito, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc. or equivalent.
• AWS certification and/or hands-on AWS implementation and support experience is very helpful.
• Familiarity with different cloud architectures including Serverless is a plus.
