Requirements:

  • Manage IT projects in a healthcare environment, including reporting progress to the project steering committee and ensuring the safe implementation of software solutions in a clinical setting.
  • Coordinate internal delivery staff, vendor partners, and customer stakeholders to deliver outcomes supporting large-scale digital transformation in healthcare.
  • Oversee implementation or migration of applications and infrastructure in large acute care or large public sector environments with private, public, and hybrid-cloud architectures (including converged/hyperconverged infrastructure) to SaaS, PaaS and hyperscale models (Azure and AWS), coordinating with clinical/business resources, management, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) to develop and execute enterprise-wide organizational change management strategies and plans.

Title: Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months of contract with possible extension
  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.
  • Valid PROSCI (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.
  • Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification is requested with the response.
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification is requested with the response.
Skill and Experience
  • 10 years’ experience managing information technology projects in a healthcare environment. Experience should include reporting progress to the project steering committee and ensuring the safe implementation of software solutions in a clinical environment. The response should include at least 3 examples including the duration of the project or work that totals at least 10 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • 7 years’ experience coordinating internal delivery staff, vendor partners and customer stakeholders to successfully deliver project outcomes that support large-scale digital business transformation projects in a healthcare environment. The response should include at least 3 examples including the duration of the project or work that totals at least 7 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • 7 years’ experience implementing or migrating applications and infrastructure in a large acute care environment or a large public sector environment with private, public and hybrid-cloud architecture including converged/hyperconverged infrastructure, to SaaS, PaaS and hyperscale models including Microsoft Azure and AWS. Experience should include coordinating implementation with clinical and business resources and management, vendor partners and internal resources. The response should include at least 3 examples including the duration of the project or work that total at least 7 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • 5 years’ experience utilizing a structured methodology such as Prosci to deliver large, enterprise-wide organizational change management strategies and plans. The response should include at least 2 examples, including the duration of the project or work, totaling at least 5 years, and specifying the methodology applied. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
