Job description

ROLE AND RESPONSBILITIES

Our Federal Government client requires a Telecommunications Specialist with the following experience:

5+ years experience working with telecom technologies such as wireless, FTTx, GPON, etc.
1+ years experience with geographic analysis of telecommunications network coverage
1+ years experience analysing GIS / related data sets using software such as Mapinfo, Google Earth ArcGIS or QGIS
5+ years experience in a government grants and contributions or funding environment

The initial contract is up to 1 year plus there are 2 x 1 year options; the work is remote but may require face to face meetings at the client location in downtown Ottawa. You would need to already have or be eligible for a Secret level government of Canada Security clearance.
