Job description

Role and Responsibilities

Our Federal Government client requires a Geomatics Specialist with the following experience:

7+ years experience working with GIS data
4+ years of code development experience, with script languages such as Python, VBA etc.
4+ years database development experience (using database software such SQL, MySWL, etc.)
1+ year experience with FME by Safe Software,
1+ year experience with MapInfo

The initial contract is up to 1 year plus there are 2 x 1 year options; the work is remote but may require face to face meetings at the client location in downtown Ottawa. You would need to already have or be eligible for a Secret level government of Canada Security clearance.
