Recruiter Coordinator

We are seeking a highly-engaged and personable recruiting team member. Responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and conducting interviews. In this role, you will develop and post job descriptions using social media and other platforms in order to identify suitable applicants. Will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Works with minimum supervision and provides administrative support for the Director of Human Resources .

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Placement of employment advertisements.
● Screen resumes and job applications.
● Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
● Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
● Serving as a go-between for candidates and hiring managers
● Processes new hires and ensures that all documentation is complete, including Basic
Pilot online authorizations and sets up new personnel files.
● Assist with payroll processing.
● Assist with the distribution of shipping payroll checks.
● Handles Team Members transfers and Payroll changes.
● Assists with Termination packages.
● Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative support experience in recruitment or related area preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of personalities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Proof of auto insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual ( Spanish)
  • Familiar with Zip Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn
