Roles & Responsibilities

At least 8 years of experience in IT, with AWS QuickSight expertise on Analysis/Report creation. Python experience is a must.
Experience with AWS services: VPC, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Glue, QuickSight, CodePipeline and ECS/Fargate.
Experience in writing Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK (Cloud Development Kit) and Terraform.
Experienced in architecting serverless solutions using AWS cloud services.

Requirements:

Designs, develops, modifies, debugs, deploys, and evaluates AWS QuickSight reports for finance applications.
Development using various AWS services, including Lambda, Athena, Glue, S3, API Gateway, RDS and CloudFront.
Produce cost-effective, reusable, efficient, and scalable programs in an Infrastructure as Code paradigm.
Work jointly with the IT team and other departments to maintain data reconciliation between AWS Financial Datawarehouse reports and Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and close cloud service) reports.

Job description

Job Title: Senior AWS Developer
Location: Remote
Duration : 6 months+

Job duties:

Designs, develops, modifies, debugs, deploys, and evaluates AWS QuickSight reports for finance applications.
Development using various AWS services, including Lambda, Athena, Glue, S3, API Gateway, RDS and CloudFront.

Qualifications:

At least 8 years of experience in IT, with AWS QuickSight expertise on Analysis/Report creation. Python experience is a must.
Experience with AWS services: VPC, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Glue, QuickSight, CodePipeline and ECS/Fargate.
Experience in writing Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK (Cloud Development Kit) and Terraform.
Experienced in architecting serverless solutions using AWS cloud services.
Strong experience in SQL and DDL in RDBMS (SQLServer, MySQL, Postgres)
Experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript and Node is a plus.
Ability to perform source code management and application build and deployment using tools Git, Maven, Shell scripts and cloud-based build and deployment pipelines (CICD)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and translate complex business rules into technical designs.
Ability to work independently on complex technical projects as well as collaborate with a team of technical professionals. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
