The Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer (Data Integrations), you’ll be a hands-on contributor improving how Solink ingests, structures, and scales its growing data ecosystem. You’ll build and refine the systems that bring POS, access control, environmental, labor, and other data sources into the Solink platform—empowering our customers with richer, more actionable insights.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Data Integrations team to modernize our architecture, transition toward more plug-and-play integrations, and design scalable solutions that support the next level of Solink’s growth. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, learning quickly, and shaping new capabilities from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and optimize data integration pipelines to ingest POS, access control, environmental, labor, and emerging data sources into the Solink platform.

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of a scalable, architecture-driven framework that reduces friction and enables faster, standardized integrations.

  • Work across the stack (approx. 80% backend, 20% frontend) to deliver robust and reliable customer-facing and internal-facing features.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and streamline integration workflows.

  • Bring best practices from more mature engineering environments to help the team scale effectively.

  • Champion continuous improvement—technically, operationally, and culturally—especially around leveraging new technologies like AI.

What You Bring

Must-Have

  • Strong full-stack development experience, with deep backend expertise and working knowledge of React or similar frontend frameworks.

  • Proven ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines or integrations at scale.

  • Experience adapting quickly—whether learning a new tech stack, working in unfamiliar domains, or solving problems from first principles.

  • Demonstrated resilience, ownership, and a drive for continuous professional growth.

  • Ability to architect solutions that support growth, extensibility, and evolving data needs.

  • Ability to apply technical expertise to inform business decisions—translating complex engineering considerations into clear insights that help refine priorities and guide strategic direction.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in organizations that have gone through significant scale-up phases and an understanding of the challenges that come with growth.

  • Familiarity with multiple types of data sources (POS, IoT/sensor data, labor or workforce data, etc.).

  • Exposure to or interest in Developer Relations concepts (understanding how integrations support platform adoption).

  • Enthusiasm for experimenting with and embracing AI/ML tools to enhance productivity and innovation.

Security Requirements

  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
