Implement and apply the appropriate pit road and race procedures in a consistent, timely and professional manner
Establish and maintain proper communications with the assigned crew chief(s) and/or Race Control; execute and confirm directives from Race Control
Secure equipment (e.g., binoculars, watch, flags, radios) and perform routine checks on them

Job description

ARCA seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Part Time Official, ARCA Menards Series.

THIS IS A FIELD/REMOTE POSITION THAT TRAVELS TO RACE EVENTS ACROSS THE U.S.

The Part Time Official, ARCA Menards Series position will officiate race events by directing competitors on the proper procedures for credentialing, participation in practice, qualifying and the race.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Implement and apply the appropriate pit road and race procedures in a consistent, timely and professional manner.
Establish and maintain proper communications with the assigned crew chief(s) and / or Race Control as required.
Properly execute and confirm any directive from Race Control.
Responsible for securing equipment (e.g. binoculars, watch, flags, radios) for duties assigned and for performing routine checks on same.

Required Skills and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in all Company software and hardware.
Valid Driver License
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with the race schedule and event calendar.
Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities according to the race schedule and event calendar.
Approximate travel: 90%
