Employment Litigation Counsel Responsibilities
Manage administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation for firm clients, including those with EPLI
Focus on the tactical aspects of cases with limited in-person hearings, depositions, or trials
Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings, prepare persuasive motions, and handle depositions
Collaborate with multiple partners and teams on diverse and complex employment law matters
Litigate restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, including motions for injunctive relief and expedited discovery
Provide strategic guidance to clients on day-to-day employment issues and compliance strategies
Employment Litigation Counsel Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
Must have CA, AZ, or WA bar license
Active state bar admission
5–7 years of employment law and litigation experience
Strong experience handling restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, including injunctive relief and expedited discovery
Comfortable managing cases independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills
Familiarity with computer forensics, e-discovery, and data privacy issues is a plus
Prior law firm experience is a plus
Experience handling cases involving EPLI is preferred
Bar admission in California is highly preferred
