  • Full membership registration as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Social Worker with 4+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability in short-term counselling.
  • Experience in managing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and anger.
  • Prior experience in face-to-face or telephone and/or video counselling.

Requirements:

  • Deliver short-term counselling to diverse clients through virtual platforms (phone, video) with flexible scheduling.
  • Assess and manage mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and anger and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Use TELUS Health's IT-based case management system to track referrals, document progress, and schedule subsequent sessions.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and participate in ongoing training to uphold professional standards.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Professional Registration: Full Membership Registration as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Social Worker with 4+ years of experience.
  • Counselling Expertise: Proven ability in short-term counselling.
  • Clinical Skills: Experience managing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and anger.
  • Communication Experience: Prior experience in face-to-face or telephone and/or video counselling.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with IT-based case management systems (training provided).
