5+ years of experience in Java EE backend service development
4+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring, Spring Boot or Jersey
2+ years of experience with Build/CI-CD technologies (e.g., SVN, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Docker, Ansible, Chef or Terraform)
2+ years of experience with databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or DynamoDB)

Requirements:

Design, develop, and maintain Java EE backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Spring, or Jersey
Build and maintain microservices architectures with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git, Nexus, Docker
Collaborate in an Agile environment, participate in design reviews, testing, and ensure code quality
Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) and leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) as needed

Job description

Very fast-moving role- Only 1 Round Interview

Note: I have 100% remote roles aswell for Lead level candidates. (Min 10+ years required)

Note: Need Only US Citizen, Green Card, EAD-GC, J2 EAD, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, and TN Visa.

Position details:

Job Title: Lead/Sr. Java Developer

Location: Reston, VA/ Dallas, TX (Onsite 2 days in Week)

Duration: Long term Contract

Required Skills: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, CI/CD, Agile

Preferred Skills: Angular/ ReactJS, Cloud (AWS OR Azure OR GCP), Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes

Basic Qualifications:

At least 5+ years of experience in Java EE for backend service development
At least 4 year of experience in developing RESTful APIs using either Spring, Spring Boot or Jersey
At least 2+ years’ experience in one of the following Build and CICD technologies: lSVN, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus or Sonar, Docker, Ansible, Chef or Terraform
Has a great deal of ownership and responsibility skills.
At least 2 year of experience in one of the following: MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, No-SQL, or DynamoDB

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in developing UI development using the latest Angular/ ReactJS framework (not AngularJS)
Experience in one of the following Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, Google, OpenStack
Experience in one of the following Quality Assurance technologies: ATDD, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, SoapUI and Postman
1+ years’ experience with one of the following Agile methodologies: Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban
Formal certification in one of the following: Java, Spring, or AWS
