Execute, professionalize, and optimize reporting within the FEC domain to improve quality and consistency of Risk Control Activities and support compliance
Report to business domains on risks in their client portfolios and to FEC domains such as Customer Due Diligence, Transactions Monitoring, and Sanctions Monitoring
Report on FEC risks as well as other relevant operational and compliance risks, including Model Risk and Data Management
Collaborate with stakeholders to raise risk awareness, drive remediation, and support steering of the large FEC domain

Job description

The FEC First Line Risk Department is a newly formed department within the Financial Economic Crime domain.

The FEC First Line Risk department is designed to drive the continuous improvement of the quality and consistency of the Risk & Control Activities of the global FEC domain and thus enabling the domain to meet the ambitious and strict internal and external commitments to become and stay compliant and in control.

Clear and consistent reporting is key in steering the domain. However, given the size of the FEC domain and the interconnectedness with the business worldwide, this also is a multidimensional challenge.

For example, it concerns:

Reporting to the business domains on the risk that is part of their client portfolio as well as to the FEC domains Customer Due Diligence, Transactions Monitoring, and Sanctions Monitoring;
Reporting on the FEC risks as well as on the other relevant operational and compliance risks;
Reporting on the associated Model Risk and Data Management.
To execute, professionalize and, where possible, optimize the reporting within the FEC domain, we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager for FEC Reporting.

Job requirements and/or qualifications:

Professional and intellectual ability on the university level;
Proven experience and knowledge regarding (integral) risk management, including reporting to senior management;
Proven experience in setting up and improving reporting structures, including associated data management;
Proven impact in complex and changing contexts aimed at creating risk awareness, remediation, and steering of a large domain;
Experience with working in complex organizations and a birds-eye view and knowledge of business processes, compliance, and associated risks;
Very strong in stakeholder management, including senior level (MB-1/MB-2);
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
Knowledge of WfT, Wwft, and GDPR.
