Innovation Developer

You are part of the Strategy and Innovation department. The financial propositions are focusing on helping SMEs grow and contributing to new revenue streams for the bank. New Horizons, one of the most innovative initiatives within the bank, is looking for a full-stack developer. You are accountable to ensure the new financial features for the customers are enabled in a seamless journey to access financial services from the client across all kinds of embedded platforms. You will have the opportunity to exploit the perfect symbiosis between taking advantage of the innovation assets and new approaches suited to the fast-paced, disruptive developments within embedded finance.

To Succeed in this role, you should have an interest in the fintech environment, finance, and servicing SMEs with distinguishing and unique value propositions. They operate at the edge of the bank and develop highly innovative financial services which are embedded in the platforms of partners. They do this in an agile, flexible setting focused on executing their ambitions. They are a growing team where revolutionary changes are made to meet customer needs with new solutions delivered through next-generation financial APIs. This position allows you to shape the long-term technical delivery of embedded financial services. The team is primarily focused on defining growth strategies and developing new and disruptive services for the SME market. They do this day by day through cutting-edge innovative propositions that strike at the heart of their business. The customer comes first, always! Within the Strategy & Innovation domain, they work in a very high-paced dynamic environment in close collaboration with partners and customers. Being part of the team requires an inquisitive nature, an interest in innovation and start-up development, and knowledge of fintech developments and opportunities. Last but not least, the courage to think disruptively about transforming the way they deliver value to the SME community. • You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
• 3+ years of experience working with e.g. Java, Spring, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience in event-driven environments with MongoDB and AWS Kafka.
• Experience with Cloud-native AWS.
• Experience with writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Has a great sense of business value.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
