Roles & Responsibilities

Strong development experience in Java and/or Kotlin within a modern tech stack (Java/Kotlin, Cloud Foundry, Azure).
Hands-on DevOps experience covering automation, testing, deployment, and monitoring in production environments.
Knowledge of authentication/authorization concepts and IAM platforms.
English fluency and ability to work in a hybrid Utrecht-based role.

Requirements:

Change, deploy, and maintain the Online Authentication/Authorization management application, ensuring high availability and secure, straightforward access for customers.
Drive automation across testing, deployment, and monitoring to improve DevOps delivery and stability.
Collaborate across DevOps teams and be capable of taking over basic activities of other team members (business analysis, coding, testing, or support) when needed.
Be willing to perform standby shifts on weekdays and weekends to keep services available for customers.

As an Engineer within Digital Platform Online Access Management, you have an opportunity to positively impact 8 million customers and users through digital channels.

Online is reinventing the way customers interact. The app is a stepping stone towards creating a personalized environment that revolves around the customer on a multitude of devices. In multiple ways: apart from delivering great customer functionality the team builds, test, and run it with the latest technology stack. The team seeks to continuously improve the way they work. The teams are focused on the Authentication (login and signing) and Authorization (access management) functionality for the million customers using the online banking environment. They are building their new Online Authentication & Authorization management and signing platform in a modern Java / Kotlin/ CF / Azure tech stack and really need your help to speed up.

Main Task & Your Impact:

You are not only responsible for changing and deploying your application, but you will also do what is in the customer's best interest to keep it stable. This can include standby shifts on weekdays and over the weekend. Also by focusing on far-reaching automation for all testing, deploying, and monitoring you will help to improve the DevOps delivery. You are capable of taking over the basic activities of other DevOps team members in case necessary, like performing business analysis, coding, executing tests, or support activities.
