Job Description:

The KYC Tech sanction and name screening department is responsible for building new applications aimed at sanction screening or name screening. They are working on innovative IT solutions that ensure that the client meets the requirements for sanction screening. In the past year, attention to this area has increased considerably and the requirements from DNB have been structurally increased in this context. To meet these higher requirements, they work together in high-performing squads that connect IT solutions with all recent compliance requirements. We are looking for someone within the area of sanction screening who acts as a senior business analyst, but who can also participate at a high technical level. This BA is expected to perform broad business analyses and thus fulfill a bridging function between the complex playing field of various stakeholders. Analysts focused on business rule implementations, alert handling scenarios, and the preparation of management information for the senior management of the client and beyond (eg DNB). Supervising model validations and implementing findings published from MVs and internal audit is also an important task for this senior BA.

The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a DevOps Squad (consisting of 8 people), which is responsible for building new applications aimed at screening. In the squad, the BA meets the needs of the business with regard to screening issues and he/she masters all facets to meet the right requirements based on the wishes of the business to shape further product development. Consider, for example, translating the customer's needs into a technical solution that fully meets the requirements set. Coordination with stakeholders about the functionality and translation to technology is key. he/she creates the required user stories for the team and feels responsible for realizing this together. In addition, this BA must be strong in switching between technical and non-technical stakeholders and understand conceptual thinking and underlying structures.

You and your Skills:

• Academic working and intellectual level (BSc or MSc degree, e.g. Computer Science).
• A broad experience with the IT landscape in the financial sector. Preferably experienced in Compliance topics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar function/role.
• Relevant experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, SAFe in the ICT sector and financial services.
• You have a helicopter view: overseeing a wide domain and any consequences certain (BA) decisions have.
• You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and become involved in complex analysis and implementation questions.
• Good communicator: the ability to talk to senior management, and business experts as well as developers, and other team members.
• You have a proactive mindset and you take ownership.
