Roles & Responsibilities

Part Qualified / Fully Qualified Accountant
Solid technical and business understanding of CRR/CRD and local regulatory guidance
Strong knowledge of the capital and statistical aspects of regulatory reporting
Previous experience in a similar regulatory reporting role

Requirements:

Prepare and submit the full suite of CBI statistical regulatory returns, including AnaCredit and Central Credit Register returns
Act as a key contact for the CBI Statistics Division, answering queries and maintaining relationships; research and apply regulatory guidance
Analyse and document regulatory reporting requirements from EU/CBI guidance; produce regulatory documents such as ICAAP and Recovery Plan
Ensure effective and efficient operations of the regulatory reporting function with day-to-day controls to meet obligations across operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, in line with the applicable risk management frameworks

Regulatory Reporting - Assistant Manager

Hybrid Working

City Centre Location

We are delighted to bring to market a new Regulatory Reporting Accountant position with an International Specialist bank.

The successful individual will contribute to the overall success of Capital and Statistical Regulatory Reporting within Finance.

The Role:

Responsible for the preparation and submission of the full suite of CBI statistical regulatory returns
Responsible for the preparation and submission of the AnaCredit and Central Credit Register returns.
A key contact for the CBI Statistics Division teams, answering queries and maintaining relationships
Ability to research and apply regulatory guidance is a key component of the role.
Analysis and documentation of regulatory reporting requirements from EU/CBI guidance
Production of regulatory required documents including ICAAP, Recovery plan etc
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.

The Person:

Part Qualified / Fully Qualified Accountant
Must have solid technical and business understanding of CRR/CRD, local regulatory guidance and in particular capital and statistical aspects of regulatory reporting.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirement and previous experience working in a similar role.
