QA Tester

We're on the hunt for a meticulous and passionate QA Tester to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing, contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence and end-user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
• Test Execution: Perform hands-on functional and non-functional testing, identifying any potential issues.
• Bug Reporting: Document thoroughly and track bugs, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolutions.
• Regression Testing: Confirm that recent code changes haven't adversely impacted existing functionalities.
• Performance Testing: Evaluate product performance under various conditions to ensure stability and responsiveness.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with end-users to ensure the software meets their expectations and requirements.
• Automation: Utilize automation tools, where appropriate, to streamline the testing process.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to existing testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance:
  • 1+ years for Junior roles
  • 3+ years for Semi-Senior roles
  • 5+ years for Senior roles.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
