Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced management consultant with strongexpertisein technology sourcing,digital transformation, and AI. In this senior role, you will advise clients on how to design, source, andoptimizetheir IT, cloud, and digital service environments. You will lead workstreams, manage client relationships, shape sourcing strategies end-to-end, and coach junior consultants.

Responsibilities
Lead client workstreams across sourcing and transformation programs covering IT, cloud, applications, digital operations, and managed services.
Design sourcing strategies, develop business cases, define requirements, and manageRfXprocesses from preparation to evaluation and negotiation.
Run vendor assessments and shape commercial and contractual models that balance value, cost, performance, and risk.
Leverage ISG market data, benchmarks, and AI-supported analyses to generate insights and guide client decisions.
Facilitate workshops and present clear, concise recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Provide structure, quality assurance, and coaching to junior team members.
Collaborate with international ISG teams across consulting, benchmarking, research, and managed services.
Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and the enhancement of ISG’s sourcing methodologies in the DACH region.
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in management consulting, technology sourcing, IT strategy, vendor/contract management, ora relatedfield.
Proven experience leading parts of sourcing or transformation initiatives, such as requirements definition,RfXdevelopment, supplier evaluation, commercial modeling, or contract negotiations.
Strong understanding of IT operations, cloud concepts, digital services, and modern delivery models.
Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and translate technical topics into clear business recommendations.
Structured, analytical thinker withstrong communicationand presentation skills (German and English at C1+ level).
Hands-on, proactive, and capable of working both independently and in collaborative, international teams.
Experience mentoring junior consultants is an advantage.
