Roles & Responsibilities

Domain knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes involved in 5C components, including drawing reading and interpretation.
Knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques, with ability to perform cost-benefit analysis to evaluate casting shop setup alternatives.
Hands-on experience with casting shop equipment/plant setup, along with product development/design concepts and calculation of casting parameters.
Familiarity with software such as Uni-graphics, AutoCAD, Factory-CAD; knowledge of Metal Flow Simulation (not mandatory).

Requirements:

Travel across the USA to supplier sites to oversee casting shop setup, supplier development, and process optimization.
Interpret technical and commercial requirements for casting shop setup and perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate alternatives.
Monitor supplier development, ensure adherence to quality control parameters, validate casting parameters and equipment design.
Communicate specific requirements to suppliers and coordinate product development/design concepts with internal teams, applying strategic thinking and strong execution to resolve issues.

Job Title- Casting Engineer with Aerospace domain exp

Location- Remote

Note- Selected person needs to travel all across USA to P & W supplier sites.

Mandatory Skills:-

Domain knowledge of manufacturing processes machining processes involved in 5C components, drawing reading, Knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques
Ability to understand technical and commercial requirements for set-up of Casting shop to evaluate alternatives with Cost-benefit analysis
Hands on experience on equipment / plant set-up related to casting shop.
Product development design Concepts
Knowledge of calculation of Casting parameters, Casting component casting equipment design.
Familiar with softwares such as Uni-graphics, Auto-cad, Factory-CAD, Metal Flow Simulation (Not mandatory)
Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the overall development process at supplier end
Strategic Thinking Strong execution orientation and problem solving approach
