Roles & Responsibilities

Proven experience as a Java solutions architect or senior Java lead on AWS-based application development projects.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot (microservices), RESTful APIs, MongoDB, and Git version control; familiarity with Gradle or Maven.
In-depth cloud and DevOps skills including AWS and Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Grafana).
Excellent soft skills (project management, communication, leadership, risk management) and ability to coordinate with stakeholders and manage budgets.

Requirements:

Analyze requirements and test software according to the project-defined software process for an AWS-based application.
Provide technical leadership to the development team, define architecture strategies, and monitor progress and budgets.
Design and develop backend RESTful APIs using Java/Spring Boot, coordinating with product owners and other teams.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and ensure quality through test coverage (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito) and monitoring.

Job description

Mphasis is looking for a Java Solutions Architect in Mexico to work with the Mexico team remotely.

The Java Solutions Architect will join the team to work on an application development project on the AWS cloud. The candidate will be responsible and capable of analyzing requirements and Test software according to the project-defined software process. Will provide technical leadership to the team of developers, create strategies, develop budgets and monitor the process while maintaining communication with all parties involved in the project.
