• 6+ months of proven experience editing TikTok videos or similar short-form content. 
• Proficiency in editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects. 
• Strong understanding of TikToks algorithm, trends, and audience preferences. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. 
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling. 
• Experience with motion graphics, text animation, and sound design is a plus. 
• Portfolio of past TikTok or short-form video edits is required for consideration.

Core responsibilities:

• Edit and optimize short-form videos specifically for TikTok, ensuring high engagement and virality. 
• Implement trending transitions, effects, and editing styles to keep content fresh and competitive. 
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align videos with brand voice and campaign goals. 
• Enhance videos with captions, animations, and sound effects to maximize audience retention. 
• Stay updated on TikTok trends, challenges, and platform algorithm changes to refine editing strategies. 
• Manage and organize raw footage, ensuring efficient workflow and content turnaround. 
• Analyze video performance metrics and suggest improvements for increased engagement.
