External Managers Department

 

The External Managers Department partners with the world’s best investment managers to capture investment opportunities, generate outstanding returns, and collaborate strategically. 

 

We seek a candidate to join our New York-based equities team as an Assistant Vice President / Vice President.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fund manager due diligence, selection, monitoring, and portfolio construction.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on investments, strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Diligence idiosyncratic or tactical market opportunities and co-investments.
  • Help manage portfolios of hedge fund and long-only managers, and source ideas from those exchanges.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-12 years of equities experience in an analytical role, on the buy-side or sell-side, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.
  • Exceptional team player who is also comfortable working independently.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Compensation
Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.
 
Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $150,000 and $210,000.  Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
