Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or a related discipline (equivalent work experience considered).
  • 3-5 years’ experience with commercial integrations, preferably in Automotive Retail.
  • Hands-on experience with data representation technologies (XML, JSON) and basic SQL skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies (Office, Excel, Teams, SQL Server) and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Design, document, and maintain the integration specifications for disparate systems to ensure they work together to meet business requirements.
  • Certify new partners on existing integrations and certify existing partners on new integrations; manage change requests and specification updates.
  • Perform UAT testing and demo scenarios with DMS partners; collaborate with DMS and OEM business partners to ensure smooth development, delivery, and production deployment of business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on how integrations operate for partners.

Description

We are looking for a  Technical Business Analyst  to join our team at Oxlo, a Dura Software company. This is a US-based Remote, full-time, position. In this role, you will be responsible for interfacing directly with DMS (Dealer Management Systems) partners and OEM/lender partners to perform business analysis, conduct DMS certifications and UAT testing, and manage specifications. You will be a key player in making sure solutions to real industry problems are implemented and delivered according to the specifications.

About this role

This role designs, documents and maintains the integration specifications of disparate systems, ensuring they work together seamlessly to meet business requirements. This role involves collaborating with various teams, analyzing and resolving integration issues and documenting procedures. Key responsibilities include certifying new partners on existing integrations as well as existing partners on new integrations, managing change requests and specification updates, as well as performing UAT and demo scenarios with DMS partners. This role will work directly with DMS and OEM business partners to ensure smooth development, delivery, and production deployment of business processes. This role involves some project management, ability to modify or create detailed technical specifications that describe use cases and functional business requirements for both internal and external audiences.

You will rely on your breadth of technical background knowledge to communicate how Oxlo’s services operate, understand how customer systems operate and bridge any gaps that come up during certifications. You’ll often find yourself in the role of Subject Matter Expert when it comes to how integrations work for our partners.

To succeed in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, will get excited by working directly with customers, will have the focus and organization to create documentation around change requests, be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and will have the technical skill to dive into details of software environments.


Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Information System or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in working with commercial integrations, with a preference for experience in Automotive Retail.
  • Hands-on experience with data representation technologies (XML, JSON).
  • Basic SQL skills.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Exposure to Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Microsoft Teams, SQL Server.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Right to work in the U.S. is required.

Job location and availability

Employee can be permanently located anywhere in the U.S. Work will be performed fully remotely (e.g. work-from-home).

  • Daily attendance on Teams meetings is required.
  • Position is fully remote, so reliable fast internet connection is required.
  • Work Hours will correspond to the location of Oxlo and its customers and can include all U.S., Mexico and Canadian time zones.
