Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting with 7-8 years of relevant work experience or CPA with 3-5 years of relevant work experience (US GAAP exposure)
Solid experience in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and strong understanding of accounting concepts; IFRS exposure is a plus
Strong data mining skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience desirable
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills; exposure to SOX environment and offshore teams is desirable

Requirements:

Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Drive process simplification and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, controls, and data quality
Prepare and present financial results to senior management using advanced Excel/PowerPoint; develop reporting packages
Coordinate, supervise, and collaborate with offshore teams; manage projects with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines

Title: Manager Accountant/ Controller

Location: 100%Remote

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in accounting, specifically in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
Solid understanding of accounting concepts and processes Exposure to have worked in a SOX environment is an added advantage
Tech savvy and one who has a strong desire to simplify processes and automate
Strong problem solving and analytical skills while being detail orientated
Ability to identify and resolve accounting, reporting and other issues
Strong data mining skills with the ability to leverage large data bases for analysis
Hands on self-starter with a strong desire to promote and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for Senior Management presentations
Excellent project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Energetic and ability to work in a team orientated environment
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
SAP experience is desirable
Exposure of having handled offshore teams is desirable
