Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 5+ years of IT security and 5+ years of IT systems administration experience.
Experience maintaining systems and access control in multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and significant Akamai-based security solutions.
Strong working knowledge of WAFs, IDS, and FIM platforms; experience with ELK/Splunk and at least one SIEM.
Vulnerability management experience with tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, or Tenable; scripting skills (Python, Ruby, etc.); Windows and Linux hardening; knowledge of PCI/SOX; CISSP or equivalent certification preferred.

Requirements:

Design, implement, and maintain security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and Akamai-based security solutions.
Operate and tune WAF, IDS, and FIM platforms; monitor security events via SIEM tools (ELK/Splunk) and cloud services (CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
Oversee vulnerability management program using tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, and Tenable; coordinate remediation with teams and track progress.
Harden Windows and Linux systems, ensure PCI and SOX compliance, and contribute to security architecture, incident response, and governance.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

5+ years’ experience in IT security

5+ years of experience in IT systems administration

Experience maintaining systems and access control in a multi-cloud environment (AWS and Azure)

Significant experience with Akamai based security solutions.

Fundamental understanding of security requirements of containerized applications

Working knowledge of WAF (web application firewalls), IDS, and FIM platforms

Experience with ELK, Splunk, and at least one SIEM platform

Experience maintaining a vulnerability management program leveraging tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, Tenable, etc.

Familiar with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudSOC, or similar tools

Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)

Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and information security

Solid background in Windows desktop and server OS hardening and protection

Solid background in Linux

Working knowledge of PCI and SOX control and reporting requirements

CISSP (or equivalent) security certification preferred
