Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field

Requirements:

  • Develop and implement Area sales strategies to achieve targets, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities in West India focusing on electricity distribution companies and turnkey contractors
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with electricity distribution companies and turnkey contractors, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals in West India, and prepare sales reports and forecasts for Ensto India management while managing the sales budget
  • Maintain deep knowledge of low voltage and medium voltage electricity distribution products and services, stay updated with industry developments, and provide technical support to clients and the sales team

Job Objective:

The ASM will be responsible for leading and managing area sales to achieve company objectives, developing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction, with a focus on electricity distribution companies and Turnkey contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the power sector, expertise in the tendering process, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management in the West India Region.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective Area sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth with a focus on electricity distribution companies and Turnkey contractors.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a focus on electricity distribution companies and Turnkey contractors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.

3. Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals related to West India.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to Ensto India management.
  • Manage the sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

4. Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's Low voltage and medium voltage electricity distribution products and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry developments and technological advancements with a focus on electricity distribution companies and Turnkey contractors.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and the sales team.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 06~10 years in Sales or similar role in the electrical or electricity distribution products industry.
  • Preferred candidate locations are Vadodara/Ahmedabad.
  • Extensive travels to client sites.
  • Strong understanding of electricity distribution and related electrical products and their applications.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM, IFS, SAP, Teams, Office 360.
