ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY  

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts in our fast-paced digital marketing agency. As the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business initiatives, and bringing sales opportunities in the Latin-American region. Your expertise in digital marketing, excellent commercial skills, and proven track record of achieving sales targets will be instrumental in our agency's success.   

To be considered, candidates must reside and be eligible to work in Argentina and are required to be fluent in English. 

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive digital sales growth in the Latin American market, targeting key markets and segments
  • Conduct outbound sales prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking
  • Supervise and be accountable for inbound sales initiatives, actively supporting the existing team to ensure performance, quality, and alignment with company objectives
  • Develop and create customized presentations and proposals in response to briefs or Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients, ensuring that the proposed solutions align with their specific needs and highlight the unique value of our products or services
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline, converting leads, and closing deals
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, conducting market research and analysis for identifying new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate sales records, provide regular reports and performance analysis to management

ABOUT YOU 

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the communications and marketing industry, with a strong track record of consistently meeting sales targets
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is required
  • Digital marketing expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tactics, and technologies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing. Familiarity with data analytics and marketing automation tools is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership skills: Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a high-performing sales team. Demonstrated experience in hiring, training, and managing sales professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships
  • Strategic mindset: Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and meet business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market opportunities and devise effective solutions
  • Results-oriented: A passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proven ability to close deals and negotiate contracts successfully; 
  • A track record of building long-term client relationships and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree or other relevant postgraduate degree is a plus
