POSITION OVERVIEW:

This remote role, based in Manila, supports the global collaboration environment across all regions. The Collaboration Engineer is responsible for the strategy, maintenance, lifecycle management, and alignment of the firm’s collaboration platforms, ensuring consistent standards and operational excellence across CUCM, Pexip, Cisco video endpoints, Microsoft Teams, Azzurro, and related infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Collaboration Engineer is a key member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) team. The Engineer reports to the Senior Manager of Collaboration and supports unified communications and video collaboration environments across the firm’s global footprint.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise standards for CUCM, Pexip, Cisco Hub, MS Teams, Azzurro, and related services
  • Design global configurations and call routing strategies, including SIP, WebRTC, SBCs, gateways, and video interop
  • Lead platform upgrades, firmware updates, and lifecycle planning
  • Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent deployment, budget alignment, and project management
  • Oversee integrations between collaboration platforms and AV/meeting-room technology
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deployment with partners, technicians, and engineers
  • Troubleshoot high-severity escalations and reliability challenges across voice, video, and collaboration systems
  • Develop documentation including change requests, configuration standards, upgrade guides, risk logs, and handover materials
  • Monitor global system performance, call quality data, and platform health to drive continuous improvements
  • Support major real estate projects, office openings, and collaboration system rollouts
  • Maintain governance of configuration templates, security policies, and user experience standards

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Unified Communications, Collaboration Engineering, or related technical roles
  • Strong expertise in CUCM, Expressway, Pexip, Cisco video endpoints, Microsoft Teams and SIP call‑flow fundamentals
  • Knowledge of video infrastructure, SBCs, media paths, cloud video interop, and Direct Routing
  • Understanding of AV room integrations and cross‑platform video routing
  • Proficiency with Office 365, system monitoring tools, analytics dashboards, and API‑based automations
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation including network diagrams, voice routing plans, architectural drawings, and engineering standards
  • Strong communication skills, customer service attitude, and ability to work globally across various teams
  • Creative problem‑solving, ability to work under pressure, and strong organisational discipline
